Another senior night!

As I was photographing this year's seniors Friday evening, I noticed a few parents I had shot on senior night previously, and I thought it would make a good post. Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I spent January 11-16 at THE convention for photographers - ImagingUSA in Nashville, TN.  I learned so many things and have so many new plans for the coming year! Some photos from the Opryland Hotel where the convention was held: I now have a mentor to guide me through my business model. Check out his work at http://www.garyjohnsonphotography.com/. He has received numerous awards from the Professional Photographer's Association, and is dedicated to helping new photographers improve their skills. The first class I attended at ImagingUSA was "The Fine Art of Portraiture" with Kristi Sutton Elias. Her work has been awarded many times over. She gave many ideas for props, posing and new ideas for image extraction. Thanks for reading my first blog post - I hope you come back for more!
